automatically switching clips based on bpm

    by aletheia » Mon Sep 15, 2008 3:12 am

    hey :)

so here's what i want to do:

my partner is using ableton live 7 and i am using modul8 v2. i want to switch between clips based on the bpm that my partner is using, so that, say, when every 4th kick plays, my clip will dissolve into the next clip and play until the next kick sounds, and so on.

how can i do this in modul8? how do i go about setting things up?

thanks so much for any help!

ps. i searched on the forums and still couldn't figure things out... if i missed something, let me know. thx.

I wonder if SlideShow BTM is not working with new v. any more. It is not in public library any more as well.
When I run it it creates errors!?

it seems not working. as soon I activate *watch BTM* it freeze, but next/prev buttons still work.
It would be nice to get this working. otherwise I must use the version of M8 where it still was OK.

Mine works fine. Have you got the global BPM set to 0 by any chance? I'm using the (VS) version of the global bpm by the way.
