    Trigger finger with Modul8 ?

    by pixel8 » Tue Nov 08, 2005 9:56 am

    Hi all,

Just want to know if anyone is using the trigger finger from M-Audio to controll Modul8 ? Also will it work with the screen doctor patch on my new imac G5 ?

Also, would trigger finger be able to assign the visibility of layers to it's tap triggers ? i.e tap to on - then tap to off (not holding down the pad) ?

    Cheers,
    Andy

I've used trigger finger with modul8 on 2 different shows.
It works perfect. But i will return my unit because the usb inner plug is too short.

As for the visibility of the layer, it should work.
Trigger fonger is ideal for clip triggering from the media banks as it has the same pad disposal. So it is highly intuitive.

I have been using the Trigger Finger with Modul8 for nearly six months. In my humble opinion it is the ultimate midi interface for modul8. Just by the mere fact that there are 16 pads that exactly match the media bin. For 'tapping' images onto the screen with the music there is nothing more effective.

    Amazing.

    I am using a 1ghz G4 laptop.

I know I'm bringing old topic up. I just want to know how to set up the trigger keys for ON and OFF function, instead of holding it. Is there a way?
