    Get rid of the extra light.

    I want to get rid of the light that is surrounding my surfaces, get rid of of the rectangular light that is the light ratio of the projector.

    A better projector with a higher contrast ratio is about all you can do.
    It's the same when you watch a movie on a HDTV that is 2.35:1, the black bars top and bottom are not actually black, they still produce light. Unless you have a TV with local dimming or OLED. A way to combat this is used Black duvetyne or velvet where you don't want light. That will suck-up most of your light spill.

    NateMac do you know somebody in Chicago that will be able to teach MM & M8, or any workshop? I have a show in april and i feel lost many times trying to figure it out everything i need. Thanks.

    The best thing out there that I've found at the moment (That I will also be attending) Is the Mapping for beginners in NYC...

    I've taught myself, but it's good to look at the basics, a lot of times you can miss something basic.
    I'd wish there would be more movement in these forums, but we get what we put in.
