Well? If I make a Quartz Composer file with MIDI mappings, and load it up in Modul8, will the MIDI mappings still work? Eh?

mmm why don't you just give a try?!? I never used qc in modul8.... can't say, but it shouldn't take a long time to test it no?

It seems that in Leo they do not without a workaround. Search this very forum like tread Leo or not to Leo.
