    media set always defaults to set 1 when adding a new layer

    Is it only me, or does this get to you too & if so is there a way around it which one of you guys/gals knows about please?

    Say I have just added a clip from media set 3 to a layer and decide to add another new layer,
    the media set immediately defaults back to 1 which probably means I have to click back to media set 3 which is where my focus was in order to choose a media to load -
    What I would like is for focus to stay on media set 3 either until I choose or until I click on an 'exisiting' layer when it might do what it mostly (not always) does and go to the media set where that layers particular clip is located.

    I notice how this irritates - in a small but perfectly formed way - and I keep forgetting to mention it as a possible alteration for some release or other.
    If you know better & there is a way around it which I am oblivious to please let me know;
    Missing it is entirely possible - missing the blindingly obvious is my forte sometimes!!!
    regards
    :D

    I made the module "Default layer" on the last 2.5 beta.
    Try it, especially the option "Use Last Mediaset Selected" :wink:

    Damn, but you - simply stunning (p)sychic software creators - are good!!! Read my mind.
    Must be the lack of sleep over v2.5 is slowly but surely opening your third eyes . . .
    :-)
    Big thanks Boris, works a treat, wonderful stuff
    best regards
