I am completely new to VJ software. I am just experimenting in using it for my MA project.Someone recommended me Module 8.
I want to distort an image (photograph) by using the sound input as your own voice. Is this possible? How do I do it?

A simple although not extremely flexible way to do this is to use the TRANSFORMER effect and apply a patch to the layer and then add a sound input. The sound wave is fed into the geometry of the patch and the will distort the image.

It's very simple and gets the message through to your audience.
