I found an interesting (maybe helpful) thing:

It says you can send the Quartz Composition output in LIVE to the FireWire port.
The last post in this forum says it is not possible because Modul8 using the 3D capabilities of the videocard.

So is it possible to implement such feature in Modul8? Is it possible to use the GPU to calculate and then send the final videodata to firewire?
