Hi modul8 users!
We just released the modul8 v3.1.9 version, which is now fully compatible with macOS Big Sur on both Intel and new M1 Mac computers
(It requires at least macOS 10.9.5)
The update is free for v3 owners and available as usual on
https://yourspacemodul8.garagecube.com
Enjoy!

I have some other apps on my MacBook that want me to upgrade to Mac OS Monterey (12.1). Do you have plans to make M8 compatible with Monterey soon? From reading the Forum, it looks like Big Sur is the latest OS compatible with M8 3.1.10
Hardware is MB Pro 2018 with Radeon Pro Vega 20 GPU

Modul8 is compatible with macOS Monterey although we do not have fully tested it on the new OS yet
(since we were very busy with MadMapper 5 and MadLaser)
So you may face (minor) bugs, and if so, we'll fix them
(Plus, you can already try out the free Modul8 DEMO version on macOS Monterey)

Hi,
I have huge problems running M8 on My Mac book pro with M1-max chip, macOS Monterey 12.2.1
In fact, if I want to use the pixel fx row, like saturation, lightness, contrast, luma key, etc., the selected media disappears completely from the output !?
thanks for helping me out
best mpol

Hi, both Modul8 and Madmapper crash while booting on my M1 Max macbook pro with monterey 12.3 and I can't use either one.
Both were working under earlier versions of Monterey, though I'm afraid I can't remember which version it was that last worked.
Modul8 3.1.10
MadMapper 5.05
16 inch M1 Max MBP 32GB 1TB
Monterey 12.3
Help! This is a major issue, would it help if I sent you the crash logs?
EDIT:
Madmapper has been updated to 5.06 with a fix for this issue - great!
Modul8 release notes speak of a 3.1.11 with a fix for this issue, but currently only 3.1.10 is available to download on Yourspace.

We've experienced some problem with macOS GateKeeper after embedding Python into Modul8 (which got removed from the system starting with version 12.3).
3.1.11 is now available for download on Yourspace.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
