Is there any good deinterlace filter ? I found one FF filter from Petes plugins, but that takes half of the luminance away from live-input when enabled so it's now very useful

I'm also looking for a way of de-interlacing the content via VideoGlide. The freefame plug does indeed dim the footage. How do other users get around this?

I still run footage through FCP or AE first simply because adding a filter to do this in m8 would take away valuable process cycles that could be used for other wonderful things.

Using a DC60+ via Video Glide.
My main question is how are people using input via VideoGlide without getting interlacing issues, tearing of live cameras doesn't look good and as covered, the Freeframe Plugin for de-interlacing drops the brightness of the input for no reason.

So I've been trying to show what exactly I mean and it would seem the problem appears when you normalise the size of the input. The default scale shows displays correctly - but as soon as you click normalise the input becomes badly interlaced.

Although keeping the scale normal is workable, its a big pain if you're doing any sort of mapping where you need to change the size and location of the clip.
