. i'm a big fan of Meat Beat Manifesto and Emergency Broadcast Network and have been working video clips w/sound into my synthpop/dance music. i've been using modul8 for some basic clips and was wondering if anyone else is using modul8 that way, and if they had any tips/tricks or suggestions to make the process more consistent.
. mainly, i've noticed that i can not ram preload/uncompressed the clips (even very small ones) and have them ready to trigger at a moments notice.. there's often a small delay in the trigger for the first usage of the clip, but subsequent triggers of the clip play quickly. is there a way i can have a clip 'ready to go' before triggering it?
. also, on a different note, does anyone know of a good resource that describes how to end a video clip on a transparent frame? i've been working w/adobe after fx/premiere w/no luck in adding a transparent frame to the end of a clip (compressed animation/millions of colors+) - i always end up with a black screen.
. thoughts/ideas are welcome!
