    motion jpeg why files are so big?

    Hello, I have basic question.
    When creating my loops and exporting them to jpg, why are my files soooo big?
    What am I doing wrong.

    how big is big? some figures might help.
    In any case pjpg is nener going to achieve the smallest files

    use apple intermediate codec, or as M8 recommends, H264 or photojpeg.

    motionjpeg is something else..

    And 100% quality produces PhotoJPG way large file than 85% without noticeable benefit.

    @mogwil : big as in 45 sec, 80mb =S
    @deepvisual: I thought the best was jpeg for modul8, but now that you mention h264, i will use it (actually that was what i used most of the time).

    actually dont use H264 (for this!) because it takes too much processor effort to decompress, right? Will slow down your M8

    Otherwise H264 (such as for YouTube) rules! ;-)
