hi, need some help

i like to start the video playback when fading the layer In with the Transparency fader.
is this posible ?

An option might be to use the fade-in property instead of manually controlling the alpha slider. Then when you use the 'on' button the layer fades in automatically while the clip starts.

i alredy thougt about this, but i will control mudule8 with dmx. all cue´s are stored on a lighting desk. and the light cue´s will have different fade times. so the programming with the alpha fader (used like a dimmer on the desk) should be the best option in this case.
