    MODUL8 AND MACHINIMA

    hey all,

i refereed to the possibilities of this briefly in another post. Suggestion, question and request for input here.

Since u guys are already using aspects of open GL here with this awesome product and are clearly WAYYYYYYY ahead of the pack as far as vjing software is concerned why not just go all the way after all.

I and many other's(i have asked) would love to have a way to display Open GL graphical info within modul8. by this i don't simply mean cubes and such but animation and textures in realtime. Basically i am working on machinima(for those that do not knoiw this term refers to thee using of gaming technologies to make movies interactively without having to beg some bonehead hollywood type for money.) It is a movement that is blowing up and shall explode in a few weeks with the release of half Life 2.

so here it is. 1. why not implement a the possibility as far as some kind od window that would access something like blender or fbx for quicktime(with parameters controlled within M8. This would include link parameter controls( audio frequency controls a characters animation for example)

    2. Understandably u are busy so if maybe u could give some input on how u would do it if u had time and let some of the community figure it out as a plug or something.

    3. while mixing video live to the beat rocks, i think all would agree that the art of audio-visual performance will evolve. using machinima together with the controls of M8 would aid in this development because it's going to happen regardless.

    there ya have it

    cheers
