Play random pieces of video but never repeat

Just starting out with VJing and until I get more experienced, it would be great to start with some sort of autopilot.
Specifically it would play 5 second chunks of randomly selected videos, but always moving forward in time so a particular section is never repeated until all chunks of each video have been played.
Any hope of getting modul8 to do this?
