    Layer Mask

    by vj_ava » Tue Mar 03, 2009 9:34 pm

So I tried to edit the Global Mask and make it a layer Mask, didn't work out to well though. Can anyone offer any advice on this?

    Thank you!

    layer masks

    by rbbfly » Fri Apr 17, 2009 8:00 pm

I've been importing the mask as a .gif and then using that as one of the layers and placing the video underneath that layer. the problem I run into is using multiple layer masks - 1 on channel a and the other on channel b but it seems to block any video from channel B if the mask from channel A overlaps that same area..... hopefully the aforementioned will get you guys started, but can anyone assist with multiple layer masks?
It be what it be, and it be nothin more.

    It does not here.
Have you checked Fading on both A and B. When you slide over it has the top most layer as new mask.
When you do not fade between A and B the 10 layers act as a stack of ten layers where all five layers on group A are on the top of five layers on group B.
