. hello!

. this is another (silly) module i've been playing around w/recently. it's loosely based on the effect used in the band asia's music video, 'heat of the moment'

. when activated, it 'shrinks' the active layer to 1/4 size, turns trace to 100% and starts displaying it in a 4x4 grid (left to right, top to bottom).

. i often set auto scale speed to ~10%, size to ~60% and auto-color to some random values then activate this effect. when using the luma key (or videos w/a transparency already set) it comes up with some pretty neat looking effects.

. the speed controls how fast the layer moves through the grid positions. if you set it really fast, and decrease the trace amount, you get some neat chasing effects.

. the random option randomly moves the layer to one of the 16 grid positions.

WOW! This really nice. This comes in perfect time as I need to create interesting graphics.
Another cool thing happens when you use larger size clip than your M8 is set up to. With luma key you get interesting overlappings
