    How to perform?

    by Hungry_Man » Sat Jan 24, 2026 2:30 am

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to perform live with Madmapper,

I have 2 scenarios but the simplest one first, lets say I prepare 10 or so materials and I tweak them and save settings. I want the thumbnail to update to show my settings and colour choices. Is this possible?

Also, Let say I want to only see these 10 materials, in the browser, how do I save favourites? I have tried dragging materials into favourites but this does not work, and there is no option to right-click and save to favourites.

There are some youtube videos about scenes and cues in MM 3.5 but this feature seems to have been taken out?

Is there a way to have more than once active layer and blend between them, resolume style?

    Thanks

update thumbnails: click the 3 dots ibn the preview section of the material, "update instance"

    menu project "remove unused medias"

scenes and cues still work the same as in 3.5

You can also use another software to mix clips and feed into MadMapper via Syphon/Spout or (over network) NDI.

    VDMX, Modul8, Avenue/Resolume, GrandVJ, etc.
