    1. Target "preset"
    2. Property "preset" (but i dont get a menu to select the preset)
    so i selected the preset
    3. i selected "learn" and then pressed the button on the midiinterface
    returnis a not
then i did this with a second selected preset.

But with pushing the buttons nothing happens.

Do i have to change "channels" for the buttons ?

    Any help ?

I've tried the new beta with midi-functionality but if I close a document and open a new one the midi-control-list is empty.

How can I save the midi-controls for the programm and not only for one project-file?

    Can't get midi functionality working..

    by jeanpoole » Thu Feb 06, 2014 8:41 am

    Hello -
I'm having trouble getting the MIDI functionality to work -
have tried typing the following into terminal:

    defaults write com.garagecube.madmapper midirouterEnabled 1

.. but upon restart, no edit midi menu is shown.

(for various other reasons, I'm on mavericks. Could this be some permissions related problem?)

And - I can't use 1.6 - as it doesn't show any syphon input for me...

Any tips / assistance greatly appreciated...

    cheers!

Update: I managed to get syphon going in 1.6 after all... tried quartz syphon and that worked... then retried VDMX and that worked too! I think maybe I'd been launching VDMX first, and madmapper 2nd before... perhaps MM has to be launched first to recognise other syphon inputs?

Anyways... MIDI is working now... albeit on a 1.6 beta on the un-recommended mavericks... we'll see how it sails...

    danke!
