    Best Software for Projector Positioning?

    Yeah, the manual move is what I do too, but it's just so annoying and time consuming. This is especially true for complicated things like domes!

    I've been chatting with the developer over at https://www.mappingmatter.com because the software looks so good, my only hesitation is that 1) no real projector or lens libraries (yet) and 2) you can't spout / syphon in to test your Mad file (which is something I love about PixelWix / Immersive Designer Pro).

    For a quick previz tool and projector positioning tool it looks very very good. Check out this 8 minute overview video, worth a watch for sure:

    no idea sorry. I usually do it "manually " in autocad using the lens specs.

    I've been using Vectorworks to do this since March and it works great. Fully manual of course, but so far has reflected reality on all our installs so that's great.
