Another Cinema 4D to MadMapper workflow Question

Hi,

I have a question about creating my UV animated textures for use inside mad mapper.

Here is an overview of my workflow:
I have two components to my project. The first is a physical 3D structure which is a model of NYC built out of lego.
You can see it here: https://vimeo.com/415023829/df39101079

Secondly is a corresponding 3D model of the structure as an OBJ file (see attached) which I import into Mad Mapper.

I like to animate my own artwork onto the UV maps using After Effects and Cinema 4D and load these clips into mad mapper as media.

The issue I came across is how do I bake an animated textures from Cinema 4D into the UV maps? In Cinema 4D it only give me one still at a time when I export the UV map, rather then giving me multiple frames like an image sequence.

I saw that someone else did it before but Im not sure how ... Here is an example of what they made with a sunrise going over a model of New York City were the animation has been baked onto the texture and exported out as a flat UV.

Many thanks in advance for all your help. Its very appreciated

I'm a 3dsmax user, but googling around led me to ...
say that you need to use Arnold as the renderer, in order to support animated texture baking.

see the doc here, there's an animation part where one would define the animated ranges...
