MadMapper with Arduino Nano 33 BLE

    by ahuffman24 » Thu Nov 25, 2021 3:45 am

    Hi,

I am currently working on a project where I'd like to trigger videos and animations using buttons and an Arduino Nano 33 BLE. The buttons are LED, and I currently have code working so that the buttons light up when pressed. I would now like to interface this with MadMapper and trigger videos and scenes with the buttons. However, I'm not sure how to connect the Nano to MadMapper. I'm aware that MadMapper has the Firmata Arduino feature, but the Nano is not compatible with Firmata. Is there another way I can do this?

    Thank you,

    Alison Huffman

Firmata is supported in Arduino Nano. What's your issue ?
Browsing fastly I found this possible issue and a solution: https://github.com/firmata/arduino/issues/436

It doesn't look like Firmata supports a nano on my end. I can only choose an Uno, Mega, or Teensy:
