Audio not playing continuously

I'm using the latest version of MM and cant seem to get a constant playback of video+audio.
Case is that the playback freezes for a second and than continues on. The time frozen is skipped, and all the screens freeze too (the audio+video file is shown only on one screen)
I tried HAP and HAP + 12 chunks, H264 and ProRez. I tried to increase the buffer, than decrees the buffer. Update audio card drivers.
The system is a HP z 620 + GTX1070+NVS 500 on WIN 10
I have 6 output screens, the automatic FPS setting gives me 50 (45 - 60fps)
Any ideas on how to go about solving this?
Thinking about using a different audio card, right now its the onboard realtek, I culd try the NVIDIA.
