I have used the Spacial scanner feature with an older Canon camera and had successful results. It's a really cool feature.

Now that MadMapper supports Sony, which brand works better for this feature, Sony or Canon?

I plan to use the image generated by the spacial scanner to project back onto the objects, sometimes altering the image in AfterEffects, so the highest quality base image is important. Any tips for generating the best scan (camera settings)?

They both work well. End of the day, it's just a matter of price.
