I have an installation that uses bare conductive sensors that trigger videos in madmapper. everything works fine, but after a few days, madmapper freezes, and I get an error that says, "Mac has run out of space 299GB". upon restarting madmapper, the error goes away and every works again. can someone give me insight into handling this issue?

Can you check memory usage of MadMapper process ?
Which version of MadMapper are you using ?
Are you movies all encoded with the same codec ? Which one ? Is it using FFMPEG player or AVFoundation (it is displayed in movie parameters below "Use Hardware Acceleration if possible") ?
Can you share a sample file and your project file ? It looks like a memory leak, maybe in FFMPEG.
