Hi Everyone,

Forgive this total newbie question.

Does MadMapper support Dolby Atmos and 7.1 surround audio format playback?

If so is there anything special needed to configure it, or will it just playback automatically when directed to the audio interface?

Hi,
Yes, MadMapper supports as many input/outputs audio channels as your hardware supports. If you movie has 8 audio channels you need an audio output with 8 channels.
On Windows: you need to switch to ASIO driver in MadMapper preferences / Audio. Best is to have a good audio card with native ASIO support.
On macOS it works out of the box with any audio device.
