There are a couple of things that I am struggling to work out and wondered if anyone else has found this possible.

1. 95% of the time we use Catalyst as the media server of choice on all projects. Normally the out put is attached to a Datapathx4 allowing 4 HD outputs. (We have managed to get the Catalyst output to go via syphon into MadMapper)

It works with Catalyst outputting one large output; 3840*2160... and then each out put on the Datapath looks at a specific 1920*1080 region of this display. Very similar to a triple or dual head. You then set 'Mixes' inside the catalyst to control what comes out of which output.

Is there a way to send the special scanner to a specific region on a large output? so that all four outputs of the datapathx4 can be spatially scanned separately? So...

'spacial scan 1' would be Top:left 0;0 Width*Height 1920*1080.
'spacial scan 2' would be Top:left 0;1921 Width*Height 1920*1080.
etc.

Is this possible?

2. If question 1 is possible... Is there a way to put a soft edge on certain edges of screens... so that two projectors can be soft edge blended.

Any light you can shed on this would be amazing.
