Here it is: in my projector output window, I see the names of the surfaces, and the lines for the quads. How do I get a clean output to my projector, please?

Figured it out. I guess none of you know it or you would have answered?

It was the shift-command I keyboard shortcut that I found on the list of keyboard shortcuts that did the trick, so no one else has to experience as much frustration as I did finding it.
