Dear mappers,

I think I understand the basics of using DMX to control LED strips

I have a question regarding the use of DMX with a ws2812 30/m RGB LED strip.
Let's say for example i would like to create 8 strips each of 1 meter i would end up with 240 pixels in total. Using 3 channels for each pixel it would take 3x 240 720 channels in total meaning (1.4 universes right???) So i would need 2x ODE ??

Correct me if i'm wrong please!

Yes, you would not 2xODE and connect them to a network switch, or get an Art-Net node which has 2 universes output.
