I am trying to do a simple DMX setup. I have a single 64 LED Par Can connected to a W10 PC via uDMX. The DMX light on the Par Can is lit and W10 thinks uDMX is working. On the MM preferences tab only ArtNet and SACN are listed. A post here from 2013 implies uDMX is not supported. ArtNet and SACN would seem to be network protocols (Lan, Bluetooth, Wifi etc.) which implies the fixture needs to have a network address

My question is how (if uDMX is not supported in MM) to connect a simple LED ParCan that only has DMX in/out ports to a W10 PC? Is there some low cost controller that supports ArtNet or SACN and has a DMX port?

The YouTube tutorial shows a EntTec DMX USB Pro device (which shows up in the DMX Out prefrences list), but that is relatively expensive (just to learn how MM works with fixtures). Is there a low cost USB to DMX device that is known to work?
