I still not clean of how handle a 300 led strip of ws2812b. ( I have an enttect Octo working with madmapper)
How many channels do I need? More than 3 ? To get the color matching on the leds from madmapper animation

Hi,
MadMapper will send ArtNet or sACN to the Enttec Octo depending on the fixture you choose in MadMapper. For instance if you create a "300x1 RGB" fixture definition, it will take 300x3 DMX channels, so 900, a bit less than 2 DMX universes.
You then have to configure your Enttec Octo to forward the RGB data coming from MadMapper on the specified DMX universe / channel, to the right output of your LED driver with the correct settings.
