Assigning multiple OSC channel per control

    by one11exo » Tue May 18, 2021 7:21 pm

    Hey guys :)

I *must be very tired as this feels like a very simple question (Madmapper / OSC)

    - Three quads (A,B,C)
    - When I toggle visibility=on for Quad A, I want Quad B & C toggled off. When B toggles on, A & C are off and when C is on, A & B goes off.

So far it seems each control can only be assigned to one OSC channel (?) so while I can easily toggle off B & C when A is toggled on - replicating that logic doesn't fly since all three visibility control already tied down to channel "quadA"

What am i missing ? xP
    Thx

You're missing things of course but you're right, it's limited to one assignment to a control per controller type (MIDI / OSC / DMX ...). However you have two other options:
    - create cues with your various "visibility" setups (just add the visibility of your surfaces in some cues using Cues "Edit" mode, check Scenes & Cues doc in Help menu or look at youtube video tutorials)
    - in MadMapper 4.1 you can use the "Controls Combiner" module to combine multiple inputs to a single control
