    OSC bug?

    by Teunkneus » Fri Sep 02, 2022 12:19 pm

    I have created a 3 wall projection.

With OSC I want to change the projections which works quite ok, but..
Sometimes it doesn't place a video on a single wall but it throws them on all three, which is certainly not meant to.

So it works 9 times out of 10, but since it has to work automated it's quite frustrating.

What I did is select with an osc command the quads I need to change the video and then with osc command select the media.
But sometimes it reacts like it somehow selects all the quads. When I check it doesn't seem in the UI that it actually selects them but it does throw the video on all of them...

    Is this a known issue?

It seems adding a 6th output to the pc solves the problem... will update if still not fixed.
    Not that this sounds logical

There's no such known issue. Can you reproduce it ? Which version of MadMapper ?

You could also use the control "/surfaces/Quad-1/visual/number"
Or, depending on your project, use cues with different media assignment to all surfaces.
