I can’t connect MadMapper to the Enttec open DMX USB. I have tried the hardware, drivers and settings with another programm: Q Light Controller Plus (https://www.qlcplus.org/). It all works.

I believe the right way in MM is: preferences > DMX Output and then select the Entec from the DMX Output Device list. But it isn’t there (just Artnet, SACN and None)

I’m running MM 3.7.8 which isn’t the latest version of course but, as far as I know, should still be very able to use a DMX output.

BTW I made sure no other program was running when testing with MM.

I’ve checked manuals and posts on the forum but cannot figure out what I’m doing wrong. Help would be appreciated!

P.S. Driver FTDI 2.12.36.4 is installed

Open USB DMX is only supported since MadMapper 5.1.0. Older versions support Enttec Pro, Enttec Pro Mk2, garageCube USB DMX

Not current MiniMad. We're working on an update but we have no deadline.

Hey, are there any updates on exporting DMX recordings to minimad using Open DMX USB? I'm currently not having any luck.
I have succesfully used MadLight Recorder with a strobe light connected through Open DMX USB, but when I try to export it to the MiniMad my only option is to use Enttec as the DMX output, even though I did the recording with the Open DMX USB output. Is there a way to make this work, or are you still working on a fix?

Open USB DMX is not supported by MiniMad. It might come in a future release but there's not deadline. You can use a garageCube USB DMX or Enttec Pro / Mk2 (or compatible device)
