MadMapper not starting on Windows GTX 1070

    by lab_diversion » Tue Nov 14, 2023 7:00 pm

    Hello,

I had Madmapper 5.3.2 working well on my gtx 1070 latop.
I installed a tascam US 16*08 software, together with ASIO driver.

Now Madmapper is saying that it cannot run because of unsupported hardware :/. It says I need opengl 3 while I should have opengl 4.5 on my PC (included in my GPU driver).
I uninstalled Tascam soft ASIO drivers, restarted the pc and still the same message.

I uninstalled and reinstalled madmapper, tried with the latest version, but I always have the same issue. So I cannot use it anymore :/

My GPU driver is up to date.
I also added madmapper in my display preferences to make sure it uses the gtx GPU.

I need to start preparing a show tomorrow, so this is quite urgent!
See attached the message I have.

    Thanks a lot!
    Marc

Do you have multiple GPUs on your machine ? Is it a laptop with an integrated GPU ? I so, you can try to disable the integrated GPU, sometimes it's possible. Or set your "Main Display" in windows display preferences on your external display.

    Thanks for your reply.
So yes indeed it is a laptop.
It has an integrated GPU. It was de activated, re-activating it solve the issue.
    Thank you for your help.
