I am trying to record out of MadMapper but I can see that the resolution put out by MadMapper is only like 512 x 389 (as seen in Quartz by sniffing the incoming Syphon).

How can I change the output of Madmapper to a higher resolution?

the syphon output resolution is dependant on MM's output.
So if you output fullscreen@1024*768, this will be your syphon res.
If you output in a window, the window size will define your syphon res.
(you'll have to use the latest MM version)

Nice, I just tested that out with a video and syphon recorder. Works as suggested.

My initial scenario involved mapping video to a building skin in Madmapper, to then record out and perform further processing - at 4k. Can there be a way to manually say at what resolution I would like to output at? MM registers the file as such size, and if it is not possible to use a 4k monitor (so MM knows what resolution out) can there be an explicitly defined option?

I think 4k is too big to be recorded in realtime through syphon.
