MadLight Offset DMX Channels

Hi
We have some LED baton lighting fixtures I wish to use with madlight, but I suspect their DMX channels are not fully supported. They are 16 Channel as below:
1: Master intensity 0% - 49%, Strobe 50%-100%
2: All R
3: All G
4: All B
5: 1/4 R
6: 1/4 G
7: 1/4 B
8: 2/4 R
9: 2/4 G
10: 2/4 B
11: 3/4 R
and so on with 3/4RGB and 4/4RGB. The master int. needs to be up for any of the other channels to function. I want to ignore channels 2-4 as this reduces the amount of mapped pixels.
I can make it all work as if it was 4 channel with the LRGB preset with L set to 49%, which is a start, but I'm hoping to make use of as much resolution as possible.
Anyone have ideas on a workaround, like being able to "park" a channel at a value and skip other channels? we have another baton that has 3 segments and an FX channel, which I would also like to exclude from the channels in MadMapper.
While here, what does the "chan. offset" do in the fixtures editor?
Regards,
Ryan
