For some reason i downloaded OSX Mavericks and installed it.
Now when I use MM it is Full-screening only to the laptop screen.

To make things worse (and most likely the cause of the problem ) the secondary monitor now has a status bar that stays visible when full screened (in Grand VJ) I found that when i used the Force resolution setting in GVJ that this made the status bar go away. but in MM its is still sending Fullscreen to laptop monitor.
And yes... i have checked the projector settings already,and set to the external monitor output.

Go to System Preferences > Mission Control > You need to turn “Displays have separate Spaces” OFF and then restart machine.

For me MadMapper crashes on Mavericks. From what I can see it mostly has to do with revisions to QuickTime, which have been devastating. I recommend not installing Mavericks if you need to use MadMapper.

The problem effects all versions of MadMapper.

Same thing here, had to go back to Mountain Lion.

Any updates out there?

Have just started process of transferring workflow to a new mavericks based laptop - haven't come across any crashes yet though.

I did notice that the 1.6.0 beta doesn't auto-recognise my syphon input ( from VDMX) ... (and I can't get it to appear at all )
whereas 1.5.3 and others always showed it straight away...

not sure if that's a 1.6.0 on mavericks issue, or a problem for 1.6.0 generally?

I am experiencing the same problem as stated in the initial thread... I am running Mavericks on the new mac pro (black trash can). When I drag the output mad mapper window from my monitor to the projector display - the outputted video disappears immediately and when I hit fullscreen the output of MM is full screened on my monitor. Projector display is blank. I can't go back to mountain lion. This is rather horrifying. Is there a solve for this problem?
