This is a problem that is something likely glaringly obvious, but I simply cannot figure out.
I've used MadMapper frequently in the past with no problem. I upgraded to MadMapper 1.5.2 - and the input screen is black/blank, regardless if I import media. The Main Projector screen works properly, it outputs testcards, Modul8 syphon feed, images and live input, but nothing in the Input view.
This is driving me insane. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

This problem vanishes after reinstalling MadMapper version 1.4

My computer is an older model iMac 2.16 HHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 3 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM
Software: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

Is my computer not suitable to run the new version of MadMapper?

I don't know how to check how much VRAM I have, but using the atMonitor utility I found the VRAM usage peaks at 85% while running MadMapper and Modul8, and the gpu hits and remains at100% (system freezes at this point), gput 0%(?)
I'm guessing my video card is on its last legs. Don't think it's possible to swap out video cards on the iMac, so I may have to live with it until I can afford a new computer.

the X1600 is really not ideal with MadMapper.
We're willing to fix it, but we can't find anybody around with a X1600 to giveaway for testing/debugging ...

Can you try to enable menu/Output/Show Info (CMD Shit i): do the surfaces disappear from the projector output ?

(anyway, 128MB Vram is ... low ... we recommend at least 512MB)

I reinstalled MadMapper versions 1.5.1 and 1.5.2. Both input and output screens were black/blank. Main Projector preview screen was working. Tried using menu/Output/Show Info (CMD Shift i) command but it made no difference, the screen remained black/blank.
The program works fine using version 1.4.4.2328. I was hoping to use the latest version with MIDI control but I guess I'll have too wait until I upgrade my computer. Thanks for your help!

I have the same problem with a mac pro, but then with the x1900 512 mb. I have this mac borrowed but luckily with the version 1.4 it works fortunately
