For my next project I am starting with Madlight.
I need 8 universes for 22.5 Meter of adressable RGB LED stripes. The customer recommend me two of four*512 Artnet to DMX controllers.

How can I connect two controllers on a MacBook Pro if I have only one Ethernet Port? I think I have to buy a Gigabit Ethernet Switch, right?

Would be great if somebody can help me. With configuring the Ethernet Ports to my Computer.

They also told me, that I don't need any dimmer, is it right that they are only working over DMX if they are adressable? Here are the name of the LED stripes Flexible LED Strips SJ-DMX-FSRGB-32 (HS9405409000)

yep, just use a network switch. I don't think you need a gigabit switch.
