MadMapper and Arduino: How video trigger Arduino

    by yntrimd » Wed Nov 17, 2021 3:01 pm

    Hey guys~

I've watched and read about the Firmata module tutorial and manual which seems amazing!
However, the manual provided inside the software is not enough to do what I want or try out what official MadMapper facebook account showed: https://fb.watch/9kI1C1TFRK/

Anyway, What I want to do even more simple, making the start of the mapped video trigger the motor, which is attached to my Arduino, to start.
Is there anyone know how to work with Firmata similar to how I described above?

    Thank you.

How do your start the video ? From a control ? From a cue ?
Or do you want to keep movie looping automatically and have some firmata output each time it loops ?

I have only one video playing so didn't need to set cues.
As you said, I want to keep movie looping automatically and have some firmata output each time it loops,
such as... when video start motor starts.
in the middle of the video, motor slows down(PWM)
and in the end of the video, motor stops.

Is there a way to do this?
