Option to Send DMX Blackout on Quit!

    by 414m0d3 » Thu Dec 05, 2019 2:21 am

I'm working on some automation to start and shutdown an installation during gallery hours, and we dont have consistent access to power off JUST the lights. It'd be amazing if when MadMapper executes a normal kill/quit procedure it sends a 0 value to all channels on the DMX output. Right now the lights stay on even when I quit MadMapper.

I'm writing some scripts to shim that feature but I wouldn't have to worry about automating consistency to turn off all surfaces before quitting MadMapper, if this was a feature.

should be an option tho', as for some stuff, it is a nice feature to kill mm and still have the dmx going.

Definitely! That's a great point, I didn't think about that. On that note, maybe for v2 or v3, a way to send a preset on kill?
