Ability to fast-switch to specific cue bank

    by jasonbeyers » Mon Oct 24, 2022 11:25 pm

    Hi,

When using a Madmapper project with multiple cue banks in a live setting, it is a little cumbersome to switch cue banks quickly. Let’s say bank 1 contains cues for projectors (videos, materials, etc) while another bank contains lighting cues. Only one bank can be visible at a time, and it takes two clicks with a mouse to change cue banks at the moment.

If Madmapper’s control system had a “select cue bank by name” trigger, users could rapidly flip through their cue banks in a live setting. I’d imagine “keyboard”, “MIDI”, and “OSC” being the most useful input types for this. And I would get a ton of use out of this!

    Thanks for your consideration!

I see this has been added now - thanks so much! It's working well, and I can now make the UI jump to a specific cue bank via OSC commands. I'm actually using an OSC-out module to do this (routing back to MM), so that I can map this to a MIDI control.

I really appreciate your team adding this!
