Nested timelines for multi-projector sync

Hi everyone,

I often work with 3-projector installations where each projector has its own timeline, but some animation layers still need to stay globally synced across all outputs. Right now I duplicate cues manually, which becomes difficult to maintain during live edits.

Would it be possible for a future version of madMapper to support “nested timelines” or linked timeline groups? For example, one master timeline controls shared animations, while each projector maintains independent local timing and effects.

I think this could make large immersive installations much easier to organize, especially for interactive exhibitions and dome setups.

I don't think your description is detailed enough, because it sounds doable already.
Do you know about the conductor's "timeline player" track type? This is essentially a nested timeline. You can also create an OSC command set to output to the local osc port to fire off other timelines (cues are osc controllable).
If you give a more detailed description of what you're trying to achieve I might be able to help
