Hi!

When you delete a layer, and create a new one, it would be nice if the new one
had the same number as the last (deleted) layer.

Now it skips the number of the deleted layer. Got it?

And it would be nice to have a shortcut for framing active layer. Say you are zoomed in on
a quad in the output window and want to move that layer in the input window. Then you often have to
pan and zoom out, then zoom in and move. It would be nice to have a "click!" and then move

Agreed on both - although if the current numbering system means we can "recall" deleted layers then that too might have its uses.

zoom extents on selected surface has been added in the 1.4.x branch of MadMApper
