I would really like to have the potential to power 5 projectors and one monitor.

At the same time my primary focus is video editing, motion graphics, and 3d. Most of the time the other video cards would lie dormant.

I would like to go with the GeForce 8800GT as my first graphics card.
Would that lock me in to having to buy 3 8800GTs? or could I get that card and 2 Radeon HD 2600XTs?

Am I better off just getting the 3x Radeon HD option when I buy my computer from the Apple store?

Is there something I could rig up with TripleHead2Go and the 8800GT?

Just curious what the best options are for having a configuration with 5 projectors.

I think it might be a bit too soon to answer this question,as the new mac pro is just available, but the best thing i guess should be to be able to put 3 x 8800GT in the new macpro, but does anybody knows if it's possible? It seems to fit in, but i don't know if the mac pro has enough energy to feed 3 cards...
