Pixel fx do not work

I am working on an MacBook Pro M1. I have the problem that pixel fx do not funktion at all. The problem appeared suddenly. Randomly it works and disappears.
I am running the newest version of modul8.
I have tryed nearly all video formats, but nothing helps.
Do anybody have an idea what could be wrong?
