if you are on demo version you can not download modules and filter modul is the one that enable FF plugins.

Hi all,

the "Filter (layer)" module comes with Modul8 2.5.7 Demo

2.5.7 expects the freeframe plugins to be copied in the Plug-Ins directory next to Modul8 and Modules directory. The demo version already contains an empty Plug-Ins directory, just copy all you .frf files there.

To use the Filter module :
1) Modules | Show | Filter (layer)
2) press the play button of the Filter module (the top-right one)
3) be sure to select ALL in the bottom of the Filter dialog

you will then see the Modul8 (M8), CoreImage (CI) and FreeFrame (FF, if installed) filters.

David.
