Hi!
I'm using Modul 8 to project in direct during a theater play. I never had any problem exept every time at the same moment. I'm using the 5 layer of the group A at the same time so 5 screan appears to be projected (I lower the scales of each Layer projectected. The 5 layer are linked to 2 differents Media (that are 5 minutes longs sequences). Each time I the images are freazing or going realy slowly. I must said that this part of the show is coming after two hours of live show so my computer is warm even if I use a fan from time to time.

So my question is, do you have any idea how I can make that part more secure because each time it really freaks me out. I was think of changing the media set from direct from disc to "preload" but I'm not sure it's a good idea...

I hope I'm clear don't be afraid to ask more explanation in frenglish

THANKS!

Does it also happen when you perform/play the part where it happens directly or with only a short amount of leading time?
And are you maybe using the same media in another project? Because Ropski and myself had a similar thing happen when we used the same media in different projects, as described here.
You could try making a separate copy of the media for each layer that uses it, or, if you don't need to change the performance during the show and it's the same every time you could record & render the sequence as a last ditch resort and then just use the rendered version in the show.

Thanks for the tip! I'm gone try to do 5 differents media for the 5 differents media. I can not record in advance because I have to folow the action of the actors....

Hi! I tried to use several Media for each layer but it still doesn't work. When there is no media in the Groupe B linked (my five media are in the Groupe A), it helps but doesn't do the trick....

Any new idea on what I Should do? Oozi, I didn't understand your question about the leading time can you rephrase it?

THANKS!

How are your media encoded? that might make a big difference. Some codecs are very processor hungry. Are you using PhotoJPEG as recommended?
