    Blackout indicator

    by shortnotion » Sun Dec 29, 2019 4:16 pm

While troubleshooting some problems with a minimad that does not seem to be able to connect to the usb-connected enttec interface anymore (light on the enttec doesn't light up), it got pretty confusing to understand if blackout (using the red button) was enabled or not. Some kind of feedback to make it clear if the minimad has blackout enabled would really help in some situations.

The most obvious implementation I think would be a simple LED light indicator, but that would require hardware change, so I'll leave it up to you guys to come up with potential ideas that might be implemented in a software update 8)

    Thanks for your feedback,
The development of the miniMAD remains important for us,
There will already be nice improvements with MadMapper version 4 :)
and then hopefully something new with the new Raspberry, but there is still a lot of work to do!
