I'm noticing Live 7 has the ability to merge video with the music, and I was wondering if someone has any tricks or tips for compining the output of modul8 with live 7? Maybe have the output in Live 7 to be used as one layer in modul8?

If you're planning to use Live and modul8 together there really is no reason to use the video capabilities of Live (which are basic to say the least). Use Live for sound and sequencing and Modul8 for video and you'll be much happier!
